Pinnacle Africa Celebrates Uganda Wildlife Day 2026

On March 3rd, Uganda joined the world in commemorating World Wildlife Day 2026, celebrated under the theme “Medicinal and Aromatic Plants: Conserving Health, Heritage and Livelihoods.” This year’s focus expanded the conversation beyond iconic animals to highlight the vital role wild plants play in healthcare, culture, and community livelihoods.National celebrations were held in Entebbe, bringing together conservationists, tourism stakeholders, students, and cultural performers.
